We are located in east-central Kansas at the junction of U.S. 50 Highway, the Kansas Turnpike and Interstate 35, midway between Wichita and Topeka. Emporia, Kansas, has a population of 25,000 people and a diverse economy supported by manufacturing, retail business, agriculture and education. The city is home to the National Teachers Hall of Fame, Emporia State University at Flint Hills Technical College. Emporia Public Schools is a mid-sized district of approximately 4,300 students in eastern Kansas.
