Piper USD 203

Located centrally to all parts of the Kansas City metropolitan area, Piper USD 203 is a growing district that is home to more than 2,700 students and 330 staff members. As one of the
renowned districts within the metro area, the district is proud to provide a high quality education to a diverse student population.

In order to meet the district’s vision of “Building the future one child at a time,” Piper USD 203 is committed to the following 4 goal areas as a part of its strategic plan:

As a district, Piper USD 203 has placed a dedicated emphasis on providing real world learning opportunities and career exploration at all levels. The goal is to ensure all students who are #FUTUREREADY when they finish their time in Piper. Beginning in the Fall of 2022, Piper High School will become the first high school in the state of Kansas to have wall-to-wall academies where all students will be enrolled in one of 6 academies to explore post-secondary opportunities. Academies include: 

1. Design, Production, and Aviation
2. Business, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation
3. Arts and Media
4. Human Services
5. Health and Life Sciences
6. Public Services

In addition to success in the classroom, Piper students have an outstanding track record in athletics and extra-curricular activities and participates in the United Kansas Conference. Piper High School is a 5A high school as classified by the Kansas State High School Activities Association.
