Deerfield`s population is approximately 825 and is located in Kearny County in Southwestern Kansas. Primarily a rural district, Deerfield is nestled on Kansas`s western plains, located along Highway 50/400, just 14 miles west of Garden City. Deerfield is a wonderful friendly small farming community in which to live and raise a family. The community takes pride in its schools and supports activities.
