Goddard School District USD 265 serves more than 6300 students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. The city of Goddard is located 5 miles west of Wichita, and the school district boundaries include students from west Wichita to rural Sedgwick County. The area provides its residents with a small town atmosphere and all of the conveniences of a large metropolitan area. The Goddard Public Schools provides its students and staff with world-class facilities, as well as innovative and quality education programs at every level. The students in the Goddard School District are served by two 5A high schools (grades 9-12), two middle schools (grades 7-8), two intermediate schools (grades 5-6), five elementary schools (grades pre-K-4), one alternative learning center (grades 9-12), and virtual education options (grades 1-12).
