Troy is located approximately 16 miles west of St. Joseph, Missouri and 65 miles northeast of Topeka. It is the county seat of Doniphan County. A small, rural community with small town values. The elementary (grades PreK-5) has a current enrollment of 170 students. There are also the following additional classrooms: a music room, a library media center, gymnasium, Title I classroom, Math Resource room, conference room and the district office.
