The position is for the high school classes of World History, Contemporary World Issues, and U.S. Government. The successful candidate will be able to help students synthesize their social science knowledge with other content areas in order to solve real-world problems they would face in college and/or career. Applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelor degree in Social Sciences or History and be certified in Kansas. A Master degree is preferred and will command a higher salary, as will teaching experience.
