Virtual Special Education Teacher - Part-time

Maize Virtual Preparatory School is seeking a part-time High Incidence (IRIS) Teacher for the 2025-26 school.  Licensure should cover K-12.

Maize has a lot to offer teachers new to the district and those new to the profession.  All new teachers are matched with a qualified mentor and both the mentor and mentee are supported by our team of Student Support Specialists and Instructional Coaches.  New teachers also participate in 8 half day professional development opportunities throughout the school year. 

Our teachers are encouraged to continue to learn and grow.  Professional learning days are well planned and cover relevant and timely topics.   We also offer a professional learning series that qualifies for college credits and tuition reimbursement for a Masters degree.
