The USD 268 Cheney, Kansas Board of Education is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the districts next superintendent. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise and experience in guiding and advancing a district with integrity, transparency, and a steadfast commitment to academic excellence. Educational Leader: Will have a proven track record of exhibiting excellent leadership strategies for developing and inspiring administrators, staff and teachers in the Cheney tradition of upholding high standards, academic excellence through staff development and support, curriculum design grounded in fundamental principles and standards that ensure student academic success, growth, and create career and college opportunities for students. 

Leadership Characteristics: Will be a steady, non-anxious leader who brings a strategic perspective to identifying and evaluating opportunities that best support students in achieving their college and career goals.
