High School Head Volleyball Coach

Responsible for organizing and carrying out the volleyball program at 3A Hesston High School.  This role includes, but is not limited to, the following functions:

- Conducting practices

- Teaching and reinforcing fundamental skills and rules of the game, as governed by KSHSAA

- Promoting fair play and proper sportsmanship

- Completing administrative duties

- Scheduling transportation for away games

- Organizing and working with assistant coaches

- Taking care of sports equipment

- Planning coaching sessions

- Motivating and mentoring athletes

- Resolving team issues

- Cooperating with school teachers and administrators

- Communicating with families

Responsible to Activities Director
