Elementary Teachers Grades K-5 for the 2025-26 School Year

Fort Leavenworth USD 207 is accepting applications for Elementary Teachers (grades K-5) for the 2025-2026 school year. Interested candidates are asked to complete an application (via the USD 207 District Website www.usd207.org - see Career and Employment Tab) with an up-to-date resume and a copy of their current KSDE teaching license.
 

Qualified candidates must currently hold a valid Kansas teaching license- or be reasonably assured of securing a Kansas teaching license with appropriate endorsement prior to July 1- 2025- of the upcoming school year to be eligible for consideration.

Summary of Essential Job Duties (Professional Responsibilities- not an exhaustive list)

1. Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
2. Ability to enter data into a computer- to see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids

4. Ability to speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in normal classrooms- outdoors and on the telephone
5. Physical agility to lift up to 25 pounds to shoulder height and 50 pounds to waist height
