USD 269 Palco is currently taking applications for an elementary teacher at Damar Elementary School - Damar, KS for the 2023-2024 school year.   Damar Elementary houses grades PK-5th, and is located in Damar, Rooks County, KS.  Duties include but are not limited to:  student supervision, appropriate lesson planning, classroom instruction, management of student behaviors in the classroom, coordination of services and collaboration with other Elementary staff members, and small group instruction.

Interested applicants must have a current Kansas teaching license with the proper endorsements, or in the process of obtaining a license.  Applications should be submitted through this website.   Other required materials include the following:  updated resume`, cover letter, copy of teaching license, college credential files and/or letters of recommendation.   Palco USD 269 will accept applications until filled.

 

* Palco will be an Agricultural-Focused School District in 2025-26.

* 4 Day School Week (No School on Mondays)

*  17 days of discretionary leave per school year. 

*  Supplemental duties are available but not required.
