Job Summary:

The Elementary Classroom Teacher is responsible for creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for students. The teacher will develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, assess student progress, and foster a classroom culture that promotes academic, social, and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with district and state standards.

Create a positive and structured classroom environment that supports student learning.

Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and observations.

Provide individualized support to meet diverse student needs.

Establish and enforce classroom rules and expectations for behavior.

Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student progress and concerns.

Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration to enhance student learning.

Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into instruction.

Supervise students in the classroom, during transitions, and in other school settings.

Participate in professional development and staff meetings.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.

Valid teaching certification/license for elementary education.

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Ability to differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs.

Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
