Superintendent

The Stanton County USD 452 Board of Education is soliciting applications from interested and qualified candidates to fill the position of Superintendent.

The term of the contract and salary will be negotiated based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, and personal/professional qualifications. The superintendent is provided a home by the district. Stanton County Unified School District is accredited by the Kansas State Department of Education.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualities:

• Experience in a leadership role
• High expectations for student achievement and behavior
• Must hold an appropriate Kansas district level administrator certificate or an out of state equivalent certificate or the ability to obtain one
• Experience in instructional improvement and data-driven instruction
• Knowledge/experience in effective school practices
• Effective communication skills
