Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach

Ulysses USD 214 is seeking a dynamic individual for the current vacancy for Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at Ulysses High School for the 2022-2023 school year.   Ulysses USD 214 seeks a coach that is committed to high achievement and excellence at all levels in the community, classroom and the playing field. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to build a program (7-12) with strong, positive values that supports success on the field, classroom and community.  The preferred candidate possess the following abilities:

-collaborate, build and maintain strong community relationships with all stakeholders to establish a strong program

-leadership and instructional skills to teach student-athletes and coaching staff fundamental skills and knowledge of the game

-excellent written and oral skills

-develop and maintain a program that develops student-athletes fundamentals to be successful both on the field, classroom and community.

-oversee the coaching staff and professional development of the coaching staff.

The position also comes with a prospective teaching position (S) in the district.
