Purpose: The principal will lead the administrative team at Pittsburg High School- fostering an inclusive environment for all students. This role involves setting a strategic direction for quality education and maintaining high expectations across all high school programs.
Reports To: Superintendent
Pay Rate: Compensation is based on education and experience- ranging from $105-000 to $115-000. Competitive benefits package including health- dental- vision- and life insurance. The USD 250 board of education contributes $1-299 monthly towards health insurance. The benefit package also includes KPERS retirement plan and employer sponsored 403 (b) and much more.

Unified School District 250 serves the city of Pittsburg, Kansas and the immediate rural area surrounding our community. Over 2,700 students and 500 employees work daily to provide a first-class teaching and learning environment for students pre-kindergarten through the senior year of high school. Our students are served in four elementary schools, a middle school, a high school, and an alternative education setting.
