PreK-5 Elementary Principal

Herington Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and visionary leader to serve as Principal. The Principal will be responsible for fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-achieving learning environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a commitment to educational excellence, and the ability to collaborate with staff, students, families, and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide instructional leadership to ensure high-quality teaching and learning for all students.

Develop, implement, and evaluate school programs that promote student achievement and well-being.

Foster a positive school culture that encourages respect, responsibility, and high expectations.

Supervise and support faculty and staff through professional development, mentorship, and performance evaluations.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and the broader school community.

Manage school operations, including  scheduling, and compliance with district and state policies.

Implement data-driven decision-making to improve student outcomes.

Ensure the safety and security of all students and staff.

Collaborate with district leadership to align school goals with district objectives.
