2026-2027 Elementary Teaching Postion-Potential

USD 502 may have a full-time teaching position available for the upcoming school year, pending enrollment and district staffing needs. This posting is intended to identify and consider qualified candidates in anticipation of a potential opening. Final approval of the position is contingent upon district needs and budget considerations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of students.

Qualifications: Valid Kansas teaching certificate in K-6 or eligibility for certification. Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills. Experience with technology integration in the classroom is preferred.

Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality instruction aligned with district standards. Assess, monitor, and report student progress regularly. Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student learning. Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives as required.
