Bluestem Schools USD 205 has a vacancy for an Assistant Principal position at Bluestem Junior Senior High School (Grades 7-12) for the 2025-2026 school year. Application Deadline: April 30, 2025.

Bluestem is a rural school district in eastern Butler County Kansas.  Despite the rural nature of this scenic 350 square mile school district, it lies less than 30 minutes from all of the suburban hustle and bustle on the east side of Wichita, KS.  

Bluestem schools adopted a 4-day school week in 2010.  

Bluestem operates one 7-12 jr/sr high school and one PK-6 elementary school.
