Job Description:

Lebo Schools (USD #243) is seeking a dedicated and motivated Junior High Boys Basketball Coach to lead and develop student-athletes in our basketball program. The ideal candidate will foster a positive, competitive, and team-oriented environment while promoting sportsmanship, discipline, and personal growth.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement practice plans that focus on skill development, teamwork, and game strategies.

Provide instruction and leadership during practices and games.

Encourage academic excellence and positive character development in student-athletes.

Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration.

Follow KSHSAA and district policies regarding athletics and student eligibility.

Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment and facilities
 

Qualifications:

Coaching experience preferred but not required.

Knowledge of fundamental basketball skills and strategies.

Ability to build strong relationships with student-athletes, parents, and staff.

Must complete KSHSAA coaching requirements and district background check.
