Job Posting: Biology/Life Science Teacher at Lebo JH/High SchoolLebo-Waverly USD 243 • www.usd243ks.org Lebo JH/High School, in Lebo, Kansas, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Biology/Life Science Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of Biological sciences, experience teaching in a classroom setting, and a desire to inspire and educate students in the subject.
Responsibilities: Teach Biology/Life Science to students in grades 6-12. Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and standards. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success. Use a variety of teaching methods and tools to accommodate different learning styles. Assess student progress through quizzes, tests, and other assignments, and provide regular feedback to students and parents. Participate in school-wide activities and initiatives, such as staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology or a related field. Valid teaching certificate in the state of Kansas. Prior experience teaching Biology in a classroom setting is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of Biological concepts and principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
