Junior High English Language Arts

The district pays $735 toward a BCBS health insurance plan. This covers a single policy. Negotiations for next year's benefit are in progress. 

Additionally, the district pays for life insurance for the staff. 

The base is currently $43,500 for 2024-2025 school year. Negotiations for next year are in progress.

Kiowa County High School is a large 1A school in the Southern Plains-Iroquois Activities Association.  Our state-of-the-art K-12 school was opened in 2010 in Greensburg, KS.  Students attend our high school from the communities of Greensburg, Haviland, and Mullinville.  USD 422 has one-to-one laptops for students grades 3-12.  Classrooms are outfitted with Promethean Panels.  Kiowa County is a great place to raise a family.
