SHOOTING SPORTS ASSISTANT

Part-time position with possibility of full-time.

Pratt Community College is seeking applications for the position of Shooting Sports Assistant.  This position reports to the WOO instructor.  Responsibilities include assisting the WOO Instructor with shooting sports during class, practice, and travel.  Additional duties include supervising shooters at the range, recruiting, and instructing students about safety and shooting skills.  Part-time position available with the possibility of full-time.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma required; associate degree or higher preferred.  Knowledge of shooting, range, and safety procedures is required.  Experience with Shooting Sports competitions preferred.  Range Safety Officer certification, valid drivers license, and a good driving record required.  One or more of the following certifications is required: National Rifle Association Shotgun Coach (Level 1), National Rifle Association (NRA) Marksmanship Instructor, NRA Shooting Coach.
