Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Directly responsible for the origination and implementation of all speech and language objectives included in any Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP), including case management.  Assesses communication skills and functional abilities to determine eligibility for early intervention services.  Conducts hearing screenings and interprets medical reports within the scope of Speech Language Pathologist’s experience. Credentials include a Master’s degree in speech-language pathology in addition to a current Speech-Language Pathology license from KDADS.  Preference may be given to an individual with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (C.C.C.).  Requires substantial knowledge of early childhood education and special needs. Salary is determined by the Special Education Cooperative’s salary schedule. Position is based in Dodge City, Kansas with travel required to area counties.

This is a full-time position (12 month contract) and the salary is determined by the Special Education Cooperative's salary schedule ($64,374 - $85,190).  Position is based in Dodge City, Kansas with travel required to area counties.  Valid driver`s license and satisfactory completion of a background check is required.
