Electives Teacher (Grades 6-12) St. Francis Residential School

St. Francis Residential School is seeking a dedicated Teacher to provide instruction in a highly supportive, team-oriented residential setting. This position serves students in a small classroom environment (maximum of 11 students) using an approved online curriculum. Residential support staff are present in the classroom to assist with student behavior, engagement, and safety, allowing teachers to focus on instruction and student growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction using approved online curriculum aligned to individual student learning plans

• Support student progress in a structured, safe, and trauma-informed learning environment

• Collaborate daily with residential staff and program leadership

• Monitor academic progress and maintain required documentation

• Participate in team meetings and professional development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field

• Kansas teaching license (or eligibility)

• MANDT and CPR certification (training provided)

• Strong collaboration and communication skills
