Parents as Teachers Educator

Parents as Teachers is accepting applications for a parent educator to deliver all components of the Parents as Teachers model to families in the Paola, Osawatomie, Louisburg, Pleasanton, Prairie View, Jayhawk-Linn and Central Heights school districts. Services offered range from home visits by parent educators and developmental screenings to making referrals to Infant Toddler Services and offering group connection activities.

Hours: This position could be full time or part time, based upon State Board grant approval

Qualifications: Must have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field.

Certifications: Must obtain a Parents as Teachers National Certification within 3 months. Visit http://www.patnc.orgfor details.

Parents as Teachers is a grant program, and staffing each year is based on program funding.
