Technology and Communications Director Job Requirements - Knowledge of instructional software applications
- Knowledge of technologies available for use in an instructional setting
- Knowledge of curriculum design and implementation
- Ability to develop and deliver technology training to adult learners
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge (limited) of LAN, LWAN, and WAN network design and installation
- Knowledge (limited) of network hardware and software applications, including network servers, printers, and other equipment
- Ability to work with multiple operating systems and network protocols
- Ability to analyze and resolve computer (limited) network problems
- Strong writing and editing skills for both print and digital platforms
- Proficient in social media tools (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) and web content management systems
- Photography and basic video editing skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment
- Familiarity with small school districts and community engagement
- Experience with desktop publishing, graphic design, or layout programs (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
