Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Half-Time High School Spanish Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching Spanish and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This position involves teaching Spanish for half the school day, focusing on various levels from beginner to advanced.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet state curriculum standards and cater to different learning styles.

Teach Spanish language and culture to high school students, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the subject.

Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, exams, and projects.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and language practice.

Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in language education.

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field

Valid teaching certification in Kansas.

Proven experience teaching Spanish at the high school level.

Strong knowledge of Spanish language and Hispanic cultures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with diverse learning strategies and differentiated instruction.

Familiarity with educational technology and digital teaching tools.

Commitment to continuous professional development.
