We are looking for an upbeat, can-do attitude athletic director who can help run our athletics program at Sacred Heart. Sacred Heart offers volleyball, boys and girls basketball, track & field, quiz bowl, drill team, cheer, and a K-3/4-6 dance program for girls. Currently, our students interested in football play through the public schools. We would love someone who can help build our athletics program and make it strong and lasting for years to come. We would also appreciate someone who can look for ways to encourage sports participation and get us in a local league. Successful candidates will need to be able to complete an annual KSHSAA rules meeting on Friday, August 2 at Garden City High School at 9:00 a.m. Our athletic director needs to have good person and communication skills, as well as needs to be able to schedule and organize games/meets/pep rallies using advanced, synchronous calendars. They should also be prepared to seek and hire coaches, as well as coordinate with the public school athletic directors and coaches for combined sports. Experience with Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, and other Google online products is a plus. The athletic director also manages the bus maintenance and schedules bus drivers for athletics and school field trips.
