Twin Lakes Educational Coop is accepting applications for an Assistant Special Education Director, for the 2025-2026 school year. 

 

This is a full-time contract beginning July 1, 2025. Successful candidates must possess on one of the following license/endorsements and be willing to get the Special Education Director Endorsement or District Leadership with prior special education experience preferred:

 

  • Special Education Supervisor/Coordinator 2900
  • Building or Program Leadership 73005/73010
  • Building Administration with Special Education Endorsement (hand approved) 3006
  • Special Education Director (AD) endorsement

The Assistant Director will provide direction and leadership support to teachers, principals, and support staff in special education areas including IEP quality control, program implementation, staff evaluation and communication with constituents. They will also coordinate and assist with student programming including monitoring caseloads and classroom numbers (including assisting with staffing needs). Assist and support building administration with special education processes and mandates, and collaborate with TLEC and cooperating district administrative teams.
