Food Service Director / Head CookNorthern Valley USD 212 • www.nvhuskies.org High School diploma or equivalent. Experience in large-scale food preparation and kitchen management preferred. Will assist in food preparation and supervise / coordinate the district food service program to ensure proper nutrition and safeguard the health of students, staff and visitors. Support the value of education, the philosophy and mission of the school, and communicate effectively with members of the school district and community. Benefits Information This is a ten-month position. Fringe benefits include a four-day work week, up to $450 toward a Board approved Health Insurance plan and twelve PTO days per year. Salary Information Salary negotiable upon experience. Employer Information Northern Valley has a four-day week school year. We are a 1A school that serves students in both Norton and Phillips Counties with a current PreK-12 enrollment of 142 students. We have a PreK-4 Elementary and a 9-12 High School in Almena. The 5-8 Middle School is in Long Island. We have a strong tradition of academic excellence and accomplished athletic programs.
