Speech Language Pathologist

The Speech-Language Pathologist conducts required screenings and evaluations to determine student eligibility and communication needs, provides diagnostic input during staffings, and assists teachers with student observations. The role includes developing and implementing individualized speech-language intervention plans and IEPs in compliance with IDEA, monitoring student progress, and participating in required review meetings.

The position collaborates closely with special services teams, classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, parents, and community agencies to support student success. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, participating in professional development, continuously evaluating program effectiveness, and performing other duties as assigned.
