Grades 7-12 Industrial Arts Teacher

USD 327 is accepting resumes for Grades 7-12 Industrial Arts Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at Ellsworth Jr/Sr High School.

Qualified individuals should possess the following credentials/qualities:

·         Hold a current and appropriate Kansas teaching license or qualify for and receive the initial teaching license at the appropriate grade level and in the assigned subject matter

·         Be able to create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning

·         Implement lesson plans that actively engage students and provide for the individual needs of students through a variety of appropriate teaching strategies and techniques

·         Promote high standards for student performance, positive peer interactions and appropriate social behavior

·         Work cooperatively with other school personnel and parents/guardians

·         Adhere to USD 327 Board of Education approved policies and regulations

·         Maintain open lines of communications with administrative personnel keeping them informed of issues potentially requiring their attention

·         Be flexible and be able to perform other duties as deemed appropriate by the Building Principal

·         Effective communication skills

·         Must be physically present in the classroom
