Director of Curriculum and Instruction

USD 327 has an opening for a Director of Curriculum and Instruction. This position will assess, identify, formulate and implement the District's curriculum program. The applicant will observe, review, audit and assess the performance of curriculum resources while monitoring the progress towards the district's goals and objectives. This individual will serve as the District Assessment Coordinator, In-Service Committee Chairperson and liaison with the District's Information Technology provider. 

         Hold a current Kansas teaching and Administrator license

         Work cooperatively with other school personnel and parents/guardians

         Adhere to USD 327 Board of Education approved policies and regulations

         Maintain open lines of communications with administrative personnel keeping them informed of issues potentially requiring their attention

         Be flexible and be able to perform other duties as deemed appropriate by the Building Principal

         Effective communication skills

         Must be physically present in the District
