Ellis USD 388 is the home of the Railroaders.  Currently, we are a 2A school district which houses nearly 350 students, 3 administrators, 31 teachers, 2 counselors, 1 nurse, 1 tech director, 1 activities director and over 46 additional staff members.  We are located in Ellis, Kansas, a community of approximately 2000 residents just 15 miles west of Hays and Fort Hays State University.
