Elementary Art Teacher (Half Time)Sterling USD 376 • www.USD376.com Sterling Schools is looking for an art teacher to work with our elementary students in grades K-6. The position is 2 days a week through the school year with some additional days for professional development and training. Sterling Grade School has an amazing art room, and our district truly values our fine art programs. Our instructor at SJSHS will be a great mentor for anyone new to teaching art. A teaching degree is preferred, but we may hire an unlicensed candidate. A fully licensed candidate would be placed on the salary schedule which starts at $19,000 for this part time position and goes up from there depending on education and experience. An unlicensed candidate would need to have a substitute teaching license and would be paid at the long term sub rate, currently $120/day for 82 days. Why Join Us?
