Interventionist - French Middle SchoolTopeka USD 501 • www.topekapublicschools.net Reports to: Principal
Purpose: Interventionist will work with teachers & students in areas of reading math and student engagement as a tier 2 intervention. Focus will be analyzing data to determine groups of students in need of academic or behavioral intervention. In addition interventionist will collaborate appropriate intervention strategies and work alongside teachers to implement intervention strategies with students.
Qualifications:
Physical and Emotional Requirements: Speaking hearing visual reading writing word processing mobility consistency of temperament ability to problem solve and work in stress providing environments.
Performance Responsibilities:
Terms of Employment: 9 months; salary and work year to be determined by the Board of Education.
Evaluation: Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the board policy on evaluation of Certified Personnel.
