This position at Lincoln Elementary assists students by providing school-wide support for the implementation of the districts curriculum and to increase student learning and achievement through enhanced instructional delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:     Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Provides reading assistance to individuals and small groups of students using current student performance data.
  2. Provides diagnostic, evaluative, and interpretive services for individual students and provides information to staff.
  3. Keeps necessary documentation on student testing, progress, and overall program goals.
  4. Meets with the building principal and staff to determine student needs in reading and writing by analyzing/interpreting data and utilizing this analysis to coordinate the implementation of researched-based instruction.
  5. Provides classroom support and assists classroom teachers to successfully implement literacy instruction that is aligned with established state and district standards and assessments.
  6. Provides support (proctoring and standardization) with assessments.
  7. Maintains confidentiality of student information.

Salary Information

Starting salary $48,450 with a bachelor's degree, based on the 2024-25 salary schedule, higher depending upon experience, graduate hours, and FTE.
