Human Resources Professional

This position serves as a key member of the Human Resources team supporting the Kansas State

School for the Blind (60%) and the Kansas School for the Deaf (40%). The Human Resources

Professional provides day-to-day support across the employee lifecycle in a state agency educational

environment where accuracy, confidentiality, and meeting deadlines truly matter.

The role includes a broad range of HR operational responsibilities and calls for someone who can

work independently within established laws, policies, and procedures. The ideal candidate will bring

prior experience in Human Resources, payroll, benefits, or employee experience work and will feel

comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a small, collaborative HR team that values both

professionalism and mutual support.
