High School Business Teacher

Silver Lake Schools (USD 372) is seeking a dynamic and motivated High School Business Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This position offers an exciting opportunity to teach foundational business courses while guiding students through real-world entrepreneurial experiences.

The successful candidate will teach a range of business classes—such as introductory business- marketing- and entrepreneurship—and will manage two thriving student-run enterprises:

• Golden Eagle Bank- a student-operated financial institution.
• Eagle Pride Printing- a t-shirt and custom apparel business.

These programs provide hands-on learning opportunities and connect classroom instruction to practical business management and community service.

Qualifications:

• Kansas teaching license with a Business or Business Education endorsement (or eligibility to obtain).
• Strong communication- organizational- and leadership skills.
• A passion for developing student leadership- career skills- and real-world business knowledge.
• Experience in business operations- entrepreneurship- or school-based enterprise management preferred.

Position Details:

• Full-time teaching position
• Start date: August 2026.
