Colby Public Schools is accepting applications for Colby Middle School Principal (grades 5-8) commencing with the 2025-2026 school year. This person reports to the superintendent and will work directly with the administrative team. 

The principal will provide leadership for the school`s educational programs and promote educational development of each student. Applicants must possess a Kansas building administrator license or be able to obtain that license.

Colby Public Schools USD 315 is a 3A school located in western Kansas on Interstate 70.  We have approximately 950 students and over 70 licensed staff members.

There is tremendous support for the school district in the community and surrounding area.  The strength of USD 315 programs stem from the collaborative efforts of staff, the parents, and the community. This includes a strong partnership with Colby Community College whereby students have the opportunity to earn college credit(s) or their Associate Degree prior to high school graduation.

The district is a member of the Northwest Kansas Educational Service Center (Oakley) and Southwest Regional Service Center (Sublette).
