Duties include, but not limited too Prepare menus in accordance with school food service guidelines. Prepare food and serve meals. Order- receive- & check food from multiple vendors. Supervise and coordinate food services to ensure proper nutrition. Assign work schedules and supervise kitchen employees. Train new employees and assist substitutes. Clean kitchen equipment. Keep an accurate daily record of meals prepared and served. Submit invoices and payroll records to the School Food Service Coordinator. Be aware of and work within the budget for the assigned food service position. File monthly reports as required by School Food Service Director. The district enrolls approximately 275 students in one attendance center, and employs approximately 30 teachers, a Superintendent/Grade School and Middle School/High School administrators. The district is a member of the South Central Kansas Special Education Coop (SCKSEC) headquartered in Pratt, Ks. Together with school, families, and community, we are committed to student success. The district has implemented a one-to-one technology initiative for all students from Prek-12. We offer a three and four-year-old Preschool program.
