Elementary Teacher

Udall USD 463 is seeking an experienced, positive, and professional elementary teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.  The ideal candidate is an intentional educator who cultivates and effectively manages the classroom learning environment with genuine rapport while collaboratively building relationships with students, families, and colleagues. 

Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Delivery & Planning (focuses on lesson design, differentiated instruction, and technology integration)

Student Assessment & Progress (uses of assessment data to inform future instruction and identify students who need additional support or enrichment; administer formative and summative assessments to monitor student growth and mastery of content; maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and behavioral incidents)

Classroom Management & Culture (establishes clear classroom rules and routines to promote a positive, respectful, safe learning environment; models and teaches social-emotional life skills such as empathy, conflict resolution, and cooperation)

Collaboration & Communication (maintains regular communication with families regarding student progress through newsletters, emails, and parent-teacher conferences; engages in professional learning and development opportunities)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Kansas teaching license or ability to obtain one
