The Instructional Coach/Literacy Leader supports and provides professional leadership- and builds deep and trusting relationships with USD 348 staff to invest in them and influence their practice. The Instructional Coach/Literacy Leader supports all USD 348 literacy initiatives. To accomplish these tasks- the Instructional Coach/Literacy Leader works closely with the community- staff- and administration of USD 348.
The position requires a valid Kansas teaching license- a master`s degree- and five years of certified teaching experience. Additionally- applicants must have completed LETRS Volume I to be considered for the position. The individual hired for this position will be enrolled in LETRS Facilitator training to take place in late May or early June 2025. Baldwin City Unified School District 348 is comprised of two elementary schools, one junior high school and one high school serving approximately 1420 area students. The two elementary schools serve pre-K through grade 5; Baldwin Elementary School Intermediate Center and Primary Center are within the city limits. Also located within the city limits are the Baldwin Junior High School, serving grades 6-8, and Baldwin High School which houses grades 9-12. Both schools sit adjacent from one another.
