High School Counselor

Riverton Unified School District No. 404 is currently seeking a High School Counselor for the 2026-2027 school year.  The successful candidate must work collaboratively with the administrative team- other building level counselors- and instructional staff in order to help students attain an optimal level of personal and social adjustment.  Applicants must be organized- efficient-and student friendly.  The high school counselor is heavily involved in the development of the master schedule and student enrollment process.  Other duties: As assigned by the principal.

Minimum requirements for consideration are as follows:

• Masters degree from an accredited college/university.
• Two years classroom teaching experience
• Current Kansas Teaching License with 7-12 School Counselor Endorsement
