BASIC FUNCTION/PURPOSE
To provide instruction in the Vocal Music Curriculum helping students to develop the skills needed to enter post-secondary education and/or the workforce while developing performance skills and an appreciation for fine arts. Responsible for organizing and conducting vocal music performances as determined by and approved on district and building level Fine Arts/Departmental calendars.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Submit required reports in a timely manner, participate in staff, department, committee, and team meetings.
- Obtain instructional resources and materials through processes outlined by the Principal and/or the Director of Teaching and Learning
- Keep informed regarding new technologies that facilitate and support student learning.
- Communicate clearly and accurately with administrators, staff, parents, students and support agencies.
- Respect the confidentiality of records and information regarding students, parents, and teachers in accordance with accepted professional ethics, and state, and federal laws.
- Strive to communicate the positive aspects of our school program to the public in word and deed.

Term of Employment: Teacher Contract
Salary Range: Determined by placement on teacher salary schedule.
Evaluation Frequency: Job performance will be evaluated in accordance with state regulations and the terms established in the negotiated agreement.
