Position OverviewThe individual holding this position is responsible for: - *providing targeted instructional support to students who require additional assistance in literacy and numeracy skills. The role focuses on identifying students' learning gaps, implementing evidence-based intervention strategies, and collaborating with teachers, administrators, and support staff to enhance student achievement.
- *overseeing all aspects of standardized testing administration and data management within the school. This role ensures compliance with state and district testing policies, coordinates test administration logistics, analyzes student performance data, and provides insights to drive instructional decisions. This individual works closely with school leadership, teachers, and district personnel to support student achievement.
- *the creation, implementation, and maintenance of personalized academic and career pathways for students. This position collaborates with educators, counselors, students, and parents to ensure that each student has a well-developed and continuously updated IPS that aligns with their interests, strengths, and future goals. The coordinator will oversee the planning process, provide necessary resources, and support student success through strategic guidance and program development.
Instructional Support & Intervention- *Provide individualized and small-group instruction in reading and math to students who require additional academic support.
- *Develop and implement data-driven intervention plans that address students' specific learning needs.
- *Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies to enhance comprehension, fluency, numeracy, and problem-solving skills.
- *Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles, academic levels, and special education needs.
Assessment & Data Analysis- *Schedule, Coordinate, Prepare, and Administer Assessments

- *Conduct formative and summative assessments to identify student strengths, weaknesses, and progress in reading and math.
- *Monitor student progress using Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and other data collection methods.
- *Collaborate with classroom teachers and administrators to analyze assessment data and adjust intervention strategies accordingly.
Collaboration & Support- *Work closely with general education and special education teachers to support classroom instruction and student learning goals.
- *Communicate regularly with parents, counselors, and school staff to provide updates on student progress and strategies for support.
- *Provide professional development and coaching to teachers on best practices for analyzing student performance data, differentiating instruction based on student performance data, and integrating literacy and numeracy strategies in the classroom.
Program Development & Implementation- *Assist in the development and execution of school-wide intervention programs to improve student achievement in reading and math.
- *Stay current on best practices in intervention strategies, literacy development, and math remediation to support continuous program improvement.
- *Incorporate technology and digital learning tools to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- *Assist in the development and execution of Individual Plans of Study (IPS) to provide students with direction toward career opportunities.
- *Develop and oversee the implementation of Individual Plans of Study for all high school students.
- *Collaborate with counselors, teachers, administrators, and parents to create meaningful and personalized academic and career pathways for students.
- *Maintain accurate and updated records of student IPS documentation and track progress towards academic and career goals.
- *Assist students in identifying interests, strengths, and career pathways through assessments, counseling sessions, and career exploration tools.
- *Provide professional development and training for teachers and staff on the IPS process and best practices for student engagement.
- *Monitor student progress, conduct regular reviews, and make necessary updates to individual plans based on evolving goals and academic performance.
- *Collaborate with district leadership to ensure alignment with state and district academic and career readiness initiatives.
- *Utilize data analysis and reporting tools to assess program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
