K-12 Art Teacher for Hope and White CityRural Vista USD 481 • www.usd481.org Rural Vista USD 481 is seeking an art teacher for their schools in Hope and White City. The applicant will enjoy small class sizes and the opportunity to be creative and innovative. The position is part of the Graphic Design Pathway and includes graphic design and yearbook courses for high school students as well as general art classes for students in grades K-8. Beginning teachers will receive mentoring within the district as mentioned in our intro video. We would prefer an applicant to have a Bachelor`s degree and a Kansas teaching license; but we will work with other applicants that do not meet these qualifications. The teacher will need a current driver`s license as he/she will travel to each school every other day as we are on a Black/White schedule. Hope and White City schools are in a cooperative agreement for all athletic teams including; Volleyball, Football, Basketball, Track and Scholars Bowl. The Rural Vista Heat is a member of the Wheat State League. Both boys and girls teams have had tremendous success since the co-op began over 12 years ago, with multiple State tournament berths.
