We are seeking a dedicated and qualified 7-12 Math Teacher to join our team! This position may include teaching a combined 7th/8th grade math class, as well as Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus. Candidates must hold the appropriate Kansas teaching license for secondary math instruction.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university
Current Kansas State Teaching Certificate on file in the Central Office
Health and Inoculation Certificate on file in the Central Office (after employment offer is made)
Desire to continue career improvement through enhancing skills and job performance

When needed, plan and coordinate the work of aides, assistants, parents, and volunteers
Physical Requirements / Environmental Conditions
Prolonged periods of sitting or standing
Regular classroom mobility; frequent use of hands, voice, and hearing
Must have physical stamina to fulfill job duties
Vision requirements include: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
Occasional physical exertion to move or lift heavy objects
Regular lifting of up to 10 pounds; occasional lifting up to 25 pounds; with assistance, up to 50 pounds
Occasional to frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, turning, and reaching
Must maintain appropriate levels of personal hygiene and sanitation
Required to work indoors and outdoors year-round
Must be able to work in noisy and crowded environments

Oversee the use and maintenance of school-owned property; request repairs as needed
Coordinate and supervise field trips
Support student organizations and related activities
Assist with school events (e.g., music programs, athletics, graduation, etc.)
Ensure all district policies are followed during school activities
Obtain prior approval from the Principal for all activities and expenditures
Follow all district health and safety policies, including the Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan
Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or Superintendent
