Position Overview:
USD 210 is searching for a high-energy, passionate leader to serve as Principal at Hugoton Primary School, overseeing grades PreK-2. We are looking for someone who thrives on creating dynamic, joyful learning spaces where young children can explore, grow, and succeed. Key Responsibilities:

Provide visionary leadership to promote student achievement and development in early childhood and primary education.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive school culture for young learners.

Supervise and evaluate instructional practices to ensure high-quality teaching tailored to young childrens needs.

Oversee the development and implementation of age-appropriate curriculum and programs.

Engage families, staff, and the community to support student success and well-being.

Manage school operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Support professional growth and development for faculty and staff.

Ensure a safe, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for all students.

Qualifications:

Masters degree in Educational Leadership, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.

Current Kansas Building Leadership License or eligibility to obtain one.

Demonstrated experience in working with primary aged children.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly with families and young children.

Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in primary education.
