Esports Teacher & Coach | Hugoton USD 210

Do you have a passion for gaming, education, and inspiring the next generation of digital leaders? Hugoton Public Schools is seeking an innovative, energetic, and tech-savvy Esports Teacher & Coach to lead our growing esports program and teach cutting-edge courses like Gaming Fundamentals, Streaming/Speech, Interactive Media, and Shoutcasting/Broadcasting.

Qualifications

Must meet KSDE secondary education licensure requirements.

ESOL Endorsement preferred. 

Education

Bachelors Degree in a relevant education field required.

Masters Degree preferred.

Performance Responsibilities

Deliver a district-approved esports curriculum designed to develop 21st-century skills.

Teach dynamic, media-rich courses including:

Gaming Fundamentals

Streaming/Speech

Interactive Media

Shoutcasting & Broadcasting

Create a classroom and team environment where student engagement, collaboration, and leadership thrive.

Coach competitive teams in popular games such as Rocket League, Fortnite, League of Legends, Halo: Infinite, Brawlhalla, and more!

Manage the esports facility and gaming equipment (PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, PC).

Coordinate leagues, tournaments, camps, and special eventsbuild a thriving school-wide esports culture!

Recruit and mentor a diverse group of student-athletes. All skill levels are welcome.

Collaborate on school-wide events and showcase student achievements through streaming and broadcast media.
